New exhibition highlights Stanford’s connection to Pacific cultures - story & video

The Stanford University Archaeology Collections' newest student-curated exhibit, Pacific Links: Currents of Material Connections, has been reported by Stanford News and featured in the Stanford Report. The piece includes a dynamic video of the exhibit installation, as well as interviews with students, collections staff, and the course instructor. This exhibit highlights Stanford’s enduring connections to Pacific Islander communities through a variety of ethnographic items from across the Pacific world gathered by Jane Stanford and other early Stanford community members. The exhibit is on view at the Stanford Archaeology Center through Spring 2018.
