For the Public

The Stanford University Archaeology Collections is committed to the University's public service mission and connecting the public with collections through exhibits and special events on campus and in the wider community.

There are many opportunities to connect with the Stanford Archaeology Center and its significant contributions to heritage professionalism on campus and around the world. These include ongoing public exhibitions, topical symposia, and weekly lunch talks. Most public events take place at the Archaeology Center on campus.

Please be aware that the Stanford Archaeology Center is generally open to the public, but the SUAC Collections Space is only open by prior appointment. See the Visit page for more information about access and hours.
